Dr. DJesika Amendah is a leading health economist and policy strategist with extensive experience in global health financing. As Head of Policy, Research, and Country Support at the African Constituency Bureau for the Global Fund, she ensures African priorities are represented in global health decision-making.
With a Ph.D. in Economics and fluency in English and French, she has worked extensively on the Global Fund, influencing resource mobilization, allocation strategies, and financial sustainability. Her expertise in health policy analysis and economic evaluation drives impactful, evidence-based reforms to fight HIV, TB and malaria, strengthen health systems and raise Africa’s voice.
